What stood out to me was that you said they got together,
DRINKING, when they said hurtful things. Wine is a mocker.
Don't take it to heart.

God DOES love you and pleasing HIM is all that matters.
Those kids love you. You are doing a good job. Look to the
Lord and do the right thing, regardless of what others say or
do. Don't entangle yourself with it. Stay as far removed
from the situation as possible.
