Ashworth University is not REGIONALLY accredited. Therefor, there
degrees are worthless. They are only nationally accredited by DETC
which almsot all online schools can achieve. If the school is not
REGIONALLY credited then their degress are not respected and are
almost unrecognized by other schools, meaning you most likely won't
be able to transfer credits. In their case they need to be
accredited by SACS, which they are not. I called SACS directly, as
well as go to their website WWW.SACSCOC.ORG. Sorry folks, I would
look into another online school if your serious about your
education. If its the money problem and your only interested in
associates degrees, goto PennFoster, they are licensed to award
associate of science degrees.
