You'll probably want to arrange for some library or computer
lab time (if you are on a campus, this is probably possible) at
least every other week. Make sure you are available to answer
questions.
If you can develop some opportunities for them to arise out of
those desks at least one time in the session, that will help
them keep interest levels up.
RW, will you have a course site (such as Blackboard or WebCT)
available as extra support? If not, you might want to develop
some type of webpage so the students can access missed
assignments, get links to materials you reference. Bernoulli
and I both use Blackboard as a data dump.
