I noticed a lot of you talking about law school, but I
didn't take time to read the threads. However, that is
something of interest to me, but since I don't really want
to practice law I see no reason to pursue that venue.

At any rate, I'm looking for perhaps a career change and
geography has always interested me. Is there any work in
the field, or are academy appointments available? If I
chose to pursue a Ph.D. (I never thought I'd say that)
would it be fruitful?
