It is a wonderful experience. I was retired from el.teaching
and am working with students who are just beginning the blocks
in their education classes.
My advice is ask, ask and ask if you have questions. And be
sure you find a secretary who can tell you the unseen rules.
( every group has them)
Be polite to your peers and let them know you are there to do
a good job and it will fall into place.
Sometimes adjuncts are fill in people and sometimes are not as
motivated as they should be. Prove that you are there for the
best you can do and it will be fine.
The peer collegial relationship is great.
Remember is is better to ask than to make a big goof with some
big issue.
