Hi JM and Winnie!
Winnie, Smart Board are great once you get used to them. My kids
had them in the classroom when we lived in GA. It allows a lot of
interactive use between teacher and student that isn't available
with a traditional blackboard. It is also integrated with
computers. I wish our college had them. On the other hand, it is
one other new thing to learn.
I'm currently wading through the online system our college uses
for grades and communication. Does anyone else use Angel? So far
I can see real advantages. It will be nice to have a place to put
everything that the students need so that they can access at any
time. So far I have the grading system set up and my course
syllabus. I'm working on scanning my lecture notes so that I can
put them in as well.
