Oh, Judy and PMo, I think you are going to be very happy with
the rest of the book, based upon what you both want after
reading the first chapter.
For myself, I see this changing the way I would confer with a
student (or teacher). It will focus me and help me to be
explicit and concrete. I think I hooked in when I was doing a
skim of the other chapters and saw a chart of "how to add
sound in writing," and noticed it was almost a task analysis
of a craft technique. I knew then there was meat here that
was no where else I'd been yet.
