Re: Help Me Get Myself Motivated Again
Posted by with you there on 8/10/08

Well folks, I think the inevitable has happened. We all have to
face that we are human. My expectations for myself are high and
having been a lurker on this chatboard before I know most of you
have the same high expectations for yourselves. We push ourselves
to do well and to do a lot for our students. At some point it was
inevitable that we hit the wall and had to back off for a bit.
Having said that I will also say, I am super grateful that I have
a job that I enjoy doing most of the time, I am not dying and I
don't have cancer, so today is a good day! This feeling will pass
and we will have a wonderful year.
I thank all of you for letting me listen in on your conversations,
I have learned so much from all of you. If it weren't for you I
wouldn't know what professional books to buy and stack in my
bedroom waiting to be read. LOL I have read quite a few and by
the way, knowing who to read helped my student teacher get a
    job!!! Thank you for that!
