Oh, no, Elaine, I certainly didn't think you were mad! I just wanted to
clarify what I meant so we COULD continue the discussion. And, I agree
with you, we NEED to have them.
On a board like this, it is hard to write exactly what you mean so that
others understand exactly what you mean! Often, when I read a response
to something I said, I am not sure if I had made myself clear in my
original post, so then I add or clarify something. I never know if what
I say is understood until someone responds. In a spoken conversation, we
can do this as we talk, but it is tricky in writing! It is kind of
trial by error....and then correcting/clarifying as we go. But, I don't
do that because I am mad. If I am mad, you will KNOW it....I do more
than clarify. LOLOL
I am applauding your dislike of the word 'teacher-proof." The LAST thing
we need is anything that is teacher-proof. What we need is expert
teachers, not expert programs! I'm glad to see you posting on this
board...you have wonderful insights to share.
