Does anyone have links or references to articles on massed
and distributed practice? I'm reading Brain Rules and he
said no solid research has come to suggest an "ideal"
schedule of distributed practice. And that it is probably
dependent on the skill/strategy practiced. This is a good
book, y'all for REAL brain research and not "brain-based
learning." His ideas for improvement leave something to be
desired and aren't as well thought-out, but he makes
reading about cortisol, the hippocampus and amygdalas
interesting reading.
