Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

Some of us have discussed close reading from time to time. Many of us have read about it and dabbled with it and even delved into it. Something was missing for me--is there really a "right" way to teach this? Yesterday staff developers from PEBC met with my little district. One woman told us that it's not a noun, close reading, it's an active verb, reading closely. I love that; it's the little things that make my heart sing.
