    If I had the money, I would try the Susan Barton Reading and
    Spelling System (also based on Orton-Gillingham, as are the
    Wilson and Spalding programs) but short of that, check out the
    books Reading Reflex and Phono-graphics.

    I can't believe what a poor job our education programs in college
    do of teaching us to teach reading--which is so critical for
    student success!
