Re: required to do icebreakers for 1st day..any suggestions?
    Posted by wordwitch on 9/01/08

I created a bingo board that asks student to identify a
skill/literary area (i. e. Can name a book that is
classified as a mystery). The students had about seven
minutes to get someone to sign each square. We then returned
to desks and I went over all of the squares. Using mini
white boards the students who had signed the square wrote
their answer and held it up. Correct answer meant the
student whose board was signed could put an x with their
highlighter in that box. Anyone reaching 5 in a row got a
bingo and small prize. This is more of a review than a team-
    building activity.
