I don't see how/why it would take anymore time to use 6 traits--
it's just a method of teaching writing. Whether you use 6 traits
or not, you would still teach writing??? When I taught writing,
I loved 6 traits. It really helped my students writing to
improve--focusing on one area at a time and having a common
vocabulary to discuss our writing.
