My district doesn't use a textbook. I teach Grade 6 ELA and I am spending waaaayyyyy too much time trying to find fiction/non-fiction reading passages. Can anyone recommend any resources?

Thanks....
longbeeye Try readingworksdotcom. They have short passages both fiction and non with questions, etc. Best of all it's all free.

teach2know I have curated reading resource in my LiveBinders. I just started blogging (Teach2know.com) and I am still working on my resources but there are several resources listed in tabs. I try to choose sites that are free.

I hope this helps. I posted the link below. Good luck. I know it must be difficult teaching without adequate resources.
