Hot off the presses: the November Teachers.Net Gazette....

    Post: Southwest Deviled Eggs

    2 hard-cooked eggs
    1 tablespoon real mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon canned chopped green chilies
    1/2 teaspoon chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
    1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 - 1 1/2 teaspoon thinly sliced green onion
    1 pitted ripe olive sliced in quarters

    Lengthwise cut eggs in half
    Remove yolks
    Set aside halved egg whites
    Mash yolks in a small bowl
    Stir in mayonnaise, chilies, chipotle pepper and garlic salt
    Stuff or pipe yolk filling into the egg whites
    Top with salsa, onion and olive
    Refrigerate until serving
