I agree with round robin also---but used correctly. It's EXTREMELY important that you listen to your kids read frequently to gauge their development in decoding/fluency. I used it in my reading groups based on the phonics we've been working on. Then, I can error correct properly. They are reading things I've directly taught them---or new text based on what I've directly taught them. That way, I can assess whether they are making progress with my instruction. :)Jody
