	Re: QRI or Gray Oral Reading? to Suzy: Posted by suzy on 3/24/08 I use running records and the DRA2. However, the best I have seen is the new Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark assessment. I do not have it but sure wish I did. It came out in July 2007 and I saw it at a conference and have a sample from Heinemann. I also want more than reading levels. With K, grade 1 and grade 2 children I also see how many words a child can write in 10 minutes and give a dictation to see if a child can hear and write the letters to represent sounds in words. I also look at classroom writing samples and give the Words Their Way developmental spelling assessment. I hope this helps. On 3/24/08, slc wrote: > What do you use for reading screenings?
