Post: Reading Specialist at MS/HS level

Posted by Erica on 4/27/08

I'm getting a lot of interviews for Reading specialist jobs
at the middle school and high school level. I have my MA in
Reading K-12. However, my internship experience was in an
    elementary school.

I have gotten asked by both principals how I would go about
implementing a remedial reading program at a middle and high
school level. Would it be like an intervention program at
the MS/HS level? Which would be better at this level-an
inclusion program or a pull-out program?
