It can work for certain kids, those identified by the
program parameters. For the others, it is incredibly
teacher intensive because you have to listen to the kids
read in order to pass a book. We got the software edition
and the kids love to race through the steps to get to the
part where they can pass. They have no idea they are not
reading every word or even pronouncing the words correctly.
It is not an independent program at all. Don't try this
with more than a very small group, 4 or 5 students max or
you will go crazy.
