Hi Mary Ann

I work for an educational software company. We have several
reading titles for grades 1 and 2. We have received a good deal
of feedback from educators using our programs for their RTI
initiatives with great success. Our programs also track student
progress to help identify problem areas.
I would be happy to set you up with a 30 day download of a few
of our early reading titles. I have included my email address
below should this be of interest.
There are also a number of websites that offer free on-line
activities for students to practice their basic skills. A quick
Google search for "free reading resources" will turn up a
wealth of information. I don't know if you are familiar with
the site starfall.com, but they have free interactive reading
activities for kids. You could also try free-reading.net for
some ideas and activity suggestions. I hope that's helpful.
