	Post: PHYSICS HELP!!!!! Posted by HELP on 5/09/08 Nest year will be my first year teaching high school physics. I love projects and I was looking for some veteran ideas! We are on the 90-minute block schedule and the class lasts a semester (18 weeks). Here are my ideas and I'd like more: Have 6 projects which last 3 weeks each. These projects will be done along with my teaching. Team/group projects 1. Model Rockets 2. 4-wheel drive monster trucks (http://www.kelvin.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv? Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=K&Category_Code=TRLAMO) 3. File Folder Bridges 4. Balsa wood towers 5. Mousetrap cars 6. CO2 Racecars Whole class project 1. Leaf Blower Hoovercraft Maybe cardboard chairs. Like everyone I guess, my main problem is money. We have a $20 lab fee and I have $500 of teaching money. Hopefully I will get some grants also. Anyone other ideas/advise????
