So, the students have science with their classroom teachers, and you
are there to support them???? We have a similar position my district.

If the children are to have science all year long, I would work out
a schedule much like the one Tina/8th suggested for all grades all
    year.

As an administrator, I would want your expertise in all of my
classrooms consistently throughout the year. I would rather have
you in class fewer times a week all year, than not at all for part
    of the year.

I'm not sure of all of your responsibilities, but could you spend
one or two days a week in classrooms and one day a week helping
teachers plan lessons, develop assessments, prepare labs, etc?
