    Most of the peer-reviewed journals are far too expensive for
    a high school or small city library to subscribe to.
    Students are best off going to a university library, where
    the reference librarians could help the find the material
    they need.

    There are now a number of "open-access" journals that are
    available free over the internet. High school libraries
    should be providing access to those journals, though with the
    paranoid web filtering many school districts require, it
    could be difficult
