    I really like the Darling models. They are stick models,
    rather than ball-and-stick, but they are the only ones I've
    found that result in a rigid peptide plane and that can
    represent hydrogen bonds. Since I do a lot of protein
    modeling, peptide planes and hydrogen bonds are important to
    me! The Darling models are only available through his website,
    but they are pretty cheap, and you can order just the
    replacement parts you need (for about 10 cents a piece) to
    maintain kits that have had parts lost or damaged
