a science teacher after all)..."
LOL! This pretty much says it all. Scientists are suppose
to be objective. Even if the answer is not what you want to
hear. You represent what is wrong with science today. You
are not teaching science at all, you are teaching politics.
You belong in a different classroom.
I am not right wing, by the way. I don't think we should be
teaching creationism in the classroom because it is not
science. I do not believe we should be teaching that all
species are worth saving - that defies nature and science in
itself. I am not a wacko pro lifer either. But I am not a
hypocrite like many so called scientists are. I suggest you
take a look at your own value system and think about what
you are teaching your students.
Have a great weekend and go step on a bug. But be careful,
according to PETA the bug should be afforded a free lawyer
at our expense.
