I disagree. It was easy to me also, and I passed it the first-go-
around, but my husband, who is also a high school science
teacher, had to take it THREE times to pass it. He doesn't do
well on tests, and never has- thats nothing new. However he is
an AWARD WINNING TEACHER (both a state and regional teacher of
the year) and most definitely belongs in the classroom. I
don't want anybody to be discouraged if they don't pass the first
time. Some people aren't good test takers, and it really doesn't
reflect on your ability as a teacher. Its just a 'hoop' you
have to jump through to be 'certified', similar to the darn
state tests the kids have to pass in order to receive credit for
classes
