I have a few questions I need to ask for my Behavioral
Observation in Education course. I prefer it if you
answered you were a new teacher who only has between one and
three years experience.
1)What is the name of the school you teach at and what state
is it in?
2)What is the total enrollment in that school?
3)What is the grade span of that school?
4)What subject(s) and grade levels do you teach?
5)Tell me one or two factors in your life or in your
education that led you to choose teaching as a career?
6)What was it like the first day of your teaching? Were you
well prepared?
7)What were the circumstances that led you to teach at this
grade level?
8)Please describe the preparation or training that you had
for this teaching?
9)What do you like most about your work?
10)What do you like least about your work?
11)How many hours outside of schooltime do you spend
preparing for school/correcting papers, etc.?
12)What would you say is the most important thing for me to
know in order to be an effective classroom teacher?
13) What advice about preparation can you offer me?
14)Is there any other advice you have for us who are
entering the teaching profession?
