The only thing they are always together in small groups is to do
the benchmark questions at the end of the unit. All of the answers
should be in their notes in one form or another. Afterwards we
discuss them as a class. We also have periodic notebook quizzes.
The unit information is covered in class. Occasionally I will
assign the reading and notetaking as homework - especially if we
have to miss a class period for some reason or another. I do
lecture - usually with a PPT presentation.
Some of the units are also covered with a project.
