Re: What kind of notes do you give and how do you give them?

I've never been into social studies. I am a science person myself. I had to
teach social studies the past few years and I think it's by far the hardest
subject to teach. I was looking at your powerpoint movies on youtube and I
find them absolutely fascinating! How much time does it take you to do one of
these powerpoints? I know you had to major in history, but did you learn
everything you have to teach in your state? Do you have to do research in
order to provide more input? How d you know what to put in your powerpoints
withouth using the textbook? I would be absolutely lost. Even the standards
don't make much sense to me unless I read info from the text.
