I am graduting soon with my BS and was thinking of doing a
MAT degree to teach history. However, based on my
research, I've read that history teachers are usually in
low demand and that many of them have lots of trouble
finding jobs. Is this true? Is it worth it to become a
history teacher? Because I really don't want to be in a
profession where I will have lots of trouble finding work.
And if it helps, I'm in the suburbs of NYC.
