Re: Thank you -- Re: Questions on 8th Grade Constitution Ide

I think that this is most important unit because it applies to
our kids and they need to know these amendments. This is not
something that stop for them this is part of their rest of their
lives. I came up with some
    ideas.http://www.congressforkids.net/games/billofrights/2_billofri
    ghts.htm
    Fun interactive -
    http://www.col-ed.org/cur/sst/sst214.txt
To create a new set of bill of rights for a new country -
    http://score.rims.k12.ca.us/score_lessons/bill_of_rights/media/fin
    alact.htm
Putting the correct amendment into situation and choosing the
most important amendment and why -
(different version)- If alien visited America ask you to rate
the bill of rights what order would you rate
Individual ( 1-10 1 being the top one) – then group-decide on the
    top 3 and why
lesson plan with - jigsaw, writing , mock trial -

    alact.htm

I use some of these ideas but I also have an assignment that my
students must do which is write a paragraph what does the bill of
rights mean and why is it important - then they have to give
example of the first 10 amendments and then find an newspaper
artcile and summarize then tell me what amendment it applies to
    and how does it.
