Right-click on the shortcut on the desktop, go to Properties, and set the compatibility mode to Win 98. Execute the shortcut and you will be able to install Paperport up to about 98% (it froze for me at this point). Re-start your PC then download and install the latest drivers from Visioneer.com. The button on the scanner will launch Paperport and the scanner will work flawlessly as it did before!
