The purpose of creating Dreamweaver was to get away from coding in HTML. You would not want to buy it to teach HTML, but would want it so that the students could be exposed to the industrial standard used for Web design. I do not teach HTML, but I do expose the students to it. One good method is to have them pull down pages, strip them clean of all fonts, colors, etc., and then have them apply a template to them. It will humble the students. The link is what I use to teach DW. Most of the emphasis is on graphic design, Photoshop, and Fireworks right now. But, there is enough here to keep a student busy for two years so you need to select what you want. We are currently building more pages on PS and DW...we being my students and me.
