Our district has randomly assigned each high school site to pilot 3 different publishers at three different levels. For example, Pearson with Realidades Level 1 for Spanish 1, HMH with ¡Avancemos! Level 2 for Spanish 2, and Vista with Descubre Level 3 for Spanish 3. Another high school would have a different combination of texts for each three levels.
Anyhow, I am piloting Realidades Level 1 in my two sections of public high school Spanish 1 next term (we are on a 4x4 block, with 90-minute classes). Any suggestions on how to wade through the material? How valuable will the online resources be? Our district is digital and I want to be digital with the textbook. (I will only have 1 class set of books, which I will keep in the classroom and will give for individual use only during class time for those students having technical issues.)
