Forgive me for being picky, but your lack of capitalization
and punctuation makes this really hard to read. That shows me,
a veteran teacher, that you are young and need to demonstrate
more professionalism.
Where are you located?
Are there jobs in your area? Check school districts in your
area for openings.
It would be a conflict to be an itinerant teacher and sub as
you will have a contract with whatever school district you
work for. If you sub during your work hours, that's breeching
your contract.
What is drawing you toward wanting to be a SEIT?
Being an itinerant teacher is very difficult and demanding. I
was an itinerant teacher for 4 years. I had 7 schools and 37
students on my caseload. I was case manager for several of
those students. I was required to be at IEP meetings during
times I was schedule for students in other buildings. I then
had to make up those students' times that I missed. I was in
charge of making materials and modifications, having
conferences with classroom teachers, putting out "fires",
doing evaluations at the early childhood center, making sure
emergency plans were in place for my students, practicing
those emergency plans with appropriate staff in the buildings,
etc.
I wish you luck. Being itinerent is challenging, but is also
rewarding when you see students making progress.
