Kathy, many people who write on this site,are just sharing. Take
your teacher hat off for ten minutes,and just listen. OP as far as
becoming a SEIT for NYC you can't for 2 years. You can become an
Early Interventionists in NYC, although, that requires you to take
the Mod 1 test. Perhaps you could work for the NYCBOE for $41 an
hour? You can also work on LI or upstate. I heard NYC took the
freeze off for Special Education, but I'm not sure. Good Luck!
