Re: 1:1 Aide Survey

This is what I am working on...
1. Yes, actually ABA who can also act as his aide.
2. no
3. Not easy at all!
4. Since they refused to help my child regarding behaviors,
which were documented several times, I first asked for a Prior
Written Notice and after I received it I wrote a State
Complaint. Still waiting for a response back.
5. I have heard "we only do this for serious behaviors." (they
filed truancy on us because due to his rages I couldn't get him
in school) or "The team decided he didn't need one" and during
the IEP meeting they said my son was so smart he would
manipulate the ABA aide.
I'm only a parent, so I hope I helped with the other side of
things.
