I think this is awesome! Just this past friday...we had a
Halloween Party for my students. I am special education
teacher and I work specifically with children who have
Autism. I work with younger elementary students. I had created
a "Dance" where the students listened to music and danced
together. There were all in their costumes and were engaged
with each other. It was great...this was just an opportunity
to create a setting where they get to socialize in a typical
setting. In this story Rachel was all dressed and got to
dance and celebrate with typical peers...someday I hope my
students get this opportunity!!
