Hello! I have been studying for the 0542 for the past
couple of months using textbooks and the internet. I have
also gone through the study guides from other states that
use different tests. I have assumed this was helpful.

This test seems harder than those put out by other states.
It seems like you have to utilize more information than is
in the question to answer correctly. For example, it will
give you a description of a autism student and some of
there specific behaviors. You will also have to fill in the
blank and assume they have other behaviors characteristic
of the disability which are not mentioned. Some of the
questions I am not even sure what is being asked.

I am using a review guide put out by cliffnotes. This might
be the problem. Anyone take and succeed on this test? How
did you study? Do you remember the questions? Were they
straightforward?
