Post: Preparing child when para is out

Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone has prepared a child
when his/her 1:1 was out. One of my kids -- preschooler --
has a 1:1, and he is very attached to her, and she will
not be in school/work the week of Thanksgiving. I know his
mom will help us prepare for her absence, but I want to
prepare him. I am seeking ideas on how to do that. I
have an idea for him when she is not there -- we could have
a picture of a house, and her picture will be there, and
then there will be a picture of the sub para to help him,
but I am seeking ideas on how to prepare him before.
