Re: Doing It Again
Posted by Quarterlife Gal on 4/26/08

No, I agree that you shouldn't let people make decisions for
you. I had a bum rap the first time around trying to teach. I
love kids and couldn't think of doing anything else. I know I
would make a great teacher because my heart is in the right
place and I want to give back to others. You might feel the
same way I do. You kinda feel beaten down and don't know if
you should pursue it or not. Give yourself some time and at
least go for the degree. You can decide if you want to teach
later. I took some time away and really feel that did help me
decide. I don't know if I will find a job right away. I may
have to sub and be an aide for a while before I feel confident
enough to actually do everything. Its a hard decision. Good
    Luck!
