I just finished spending a few hours reading posts on another website regarding a cooperative teacher's experience with an older student teacher. My conclusion is as follows: 1) the teacher is not well educated as evidenced by her poor grammar and style. 2) the teacher lacks managerial and leadership skills (not unexpected for a teacher) and fails to communicate her own expectations for the student teacher but expects the student teacher to comform. 3) the teacher is apparently afraid of the university. This shows immaturity on the part of the teacher. Also, after reading some of the posts by the CT, There is reason to question the the mental and academic fitness of this teacher. (omitting the grammar and style errors) a. Happyhiker admits to having no friends (depression) b. Happyhiker is morbidly obese. (depression) c. Happyhiker complains about her hair (depression) d.
