Re: Older student teachers
Posted by what's the purpose? on 5/01/08

I also don't understand about the purpose of your post. The
student teacher in question obviously put nothing into her
student teaching experience, as evidenced by her showing up
late daily, spending days on her cell phone and laptop
during her observation time, never bothering to grade a
paper, and putting no effort into her lessons.

Many of us weren't great while student teaching, but effort
goes a long way. I know that while my lessons weren't
always great, my CT knew I spent a lot of time planning and
    was working very hard.

No one should have to tell a student teacher to show up on
time, come daily, and work. It's not the CT teacher's fault.
