Re: Not recommended for credential
Posted by Rodeo on 5/01/08

Did you ask why they wouldn't recommend you? I know this
would be a real pain for you but what about if you retook
the classes at another program or taught as an intern in a
program that would basically have you earn your credential
as you taught. They have a lot of those programs for math
teachers. I'm sorry that happened to you.

What happened? Did you get on someone's bad side? Sometimes
small Christian credential departments are more sensitive to
you than the large credential factories. Maybe you could go
to one of these schools and explain your situation and see
if you could transfer some of your courses to them.

My friend began her credential at one school then switched
schools and transferred like half of her courses. I think
she retook curriculum and student teaching or something like
    that.

If you joined an intern program where you taught and started
earning a salary, they might allow you to transfer your
courses instead of doing their night classes.

you might have a lot of options, just look into them.

Also, contact a lawyer maybe and think about sending a
letter requesting an official explanation of why they will
not recommend you for a credential after you have finished
all coursework and paid all fees for the coursework.
