I am now officially DONE and will graduate with my "recommendation" for certification on Friday! It has been an incredibly long hard year, but now I can't believe it's all over already!! First semester was very difficult; second semester I was given a *dream* of a mentor and life and learning were absolutely wonderful!!! For anyone considering it...I won't lie, it's tough at times, and depending on your mentor can be a fun, exciting experience; or a completely demoralizing experience. Put things into perspective -- if it's you and you have a history of being difficult to work with, then yeah, maybe it IS you. However, if you have a history of being a great team player, and have had wonderful relationships with kids and adults in the past, then maybe it's *NOT* you, so don't let anyone make you believe it IS!!!! Persevere, and you will find your niche and SUCCEED. I'm proof of it!!!
