Posted by Ooii on 7/02/08 Just so you know... I made the stupidist mistake recently. I had a TYPO in my cover letter! I wrote "wit" instead of "with"! I just cringed all over when I saw. And do you know what else??? The principal liked me ANYWAY! She gave me an interview on the phone, and then an interview with a group. I passed that cover letter out to an entire interview team and do you know what else??? They liked me! They called my references. The principal e-mailed me back to see if I was still interested, but I didn't get back to her in time... =( And so the slot was filled. But she wrote me again and told me about a long term sub position that she would love me to fill. Yes, I had a typo in my cover letter. And I lived to tell about it.
