    At the end of my portfolio I included copies of all awards I
    had won and my DD214. You definitely want to make sure that
    interviewers are aware of your military experience. In my
    state, we have Veteran's Preference which definitely helped me
    get my job - if there are two equally qualified candidates and
    one of them is a veteran, the school must choose the veteran
    over the nonveteran.
