Be prepared to put your teacher face on and be assertive!
That's the best advice I can give. If you are a good student
teacher, you will not be a lot of extra work for your CT. He or
she will not know what they would do without you! Be
proactive. Give the teacher a hand with setting up the
classroom. The very first week you are there, offer to do things
that will help the teacher out, like grading papers or taking
the kids to lunch.
