I write down the daily work/assignments and put absent
students' worksheets into the folder with their names on it.
The kids are responsible for copying down the assignments
and/or grabbing the papers they need from the folder when
they return. If they still have questions, they can come and
ask me. I may remind them as a class to use the HW Folder the
first few times, but after that, they're pretty much on their
own.
